On the evening of the 8th November 2016, over 100 friends and supporters of the Foundation joined us at Spencer House, in London, to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The event was marked by a guest speech by Sir David Carter, the National Schools Commissioner.

The evening gave us the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our programmes, schools and students over the last 10 years, and to look to the future by sharing our plans for what comes next.

We will launch our new strategy early in 2017. This will include a continued commitment to developing entrepreneurial educational models and entrepreneurial activity in and around Aldridge Education schools. We will expand our global social entrepreneurship and education work – creating a dynamic relationship between Aldridge schools and communities in Africa – a major investment area for our sister organisation Aldridge Wealth. We will build on existing and develop new strategic partnerships to support our work. Entrepreneurial partners like Akatemia and the Guild of Entrepreneurs; delivery partners like Ada and Future Foundations and entrepreneurial academics like the team at the Business School at UWE are just some of those who we already know will play a significant role with us.

We will be finalising our strategy over the next few weeks and we would like you to contribute to this. Could you help us deliver … fund … create new opportunities … introduce us to like-minded partners? Help transform the opportunities available for more of our young people and communities? If you can please contact Chief Executive Beki Martin.
