Foundation Projects

The Aldridge Foundation seeks match-funding or better for projects and requires to be involved in their development when funding those schemes that meet our key aims of generating social change through entrepreneurship.  Most of our projects have a direct benefit to one or more of our Academies' communities. 

Lancashire

Within Lancashire, we work with a number of partners to deliver high-quality community based programmes focusing on Darwen Aldridge Community Academy, and the wider Blackburn with Darwen community.

National

Programmes and partnerships run on a national basis fall into three categories. First and foremost, they may benefit students and communities around more than one of our Academies - most national programmes fall into this category. Alternatively, they may benefit a wider number of areas (this includes We Are What We Do and Dance Champions), or they may be to influence national policy (such as User Voice).

Brighton & Hove

Within Brighton and Hove, focusing on Brighton Aldridge Community Academy, we co-ordinate a number of projects and work with a number of partners to ensure that the Academy performs its role as a community asset. All of these projects are designed to help meet our outcomes, in raising aspirations and developing a stronger local society.
