Beki is the Aldridge Foundation’s Chief Executive, having joined us as Deputy Chief Executive in July 2013. She served at Aldridge Education Multi-Academy Trust’s Interim Chief Executive until Chris Tweedale took up the role in October 2016.
Beki has over 18 years’ experience of working with third sector, private and public organisations. Her work has included a wide range of business development and operational roles which encompass everything from designing, developing and running projects to recruiting and training volunteers and securing funding and contracts.
In 2005 Beki led the development of the critically acclaimed ‘Ballet Hoo! – Ballet Changed My Life’ project which was delivered through a ground breaking partnership between Youth at Risk (UK), four local authorities, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Channel4. As well as running her own consultancy over the last 3 years where clients have included Save the Children and Channel4 previous roles have included leadership positions with The Communication Trust and Youth at Risk (UK).
