The Aldridge Foundation and each of our sponsored schools have made the a series of pledges to Step Up to Serve who are co-ordinating #iwill, a national campaign that aims to make social action part of life for as many 10 to 20 year-olds as possible by the year 2020. The pledges outline our commitment to develop and promote social entrepreneurship.
In her recent Blog Chief Executive Honor Wilson-Fletcher wrote: “It is our view that the more employers value social action in the recruitment process, the more parents and students will seek it out in their schools, and the more schools will integrate it into their curriculum. Ultimately, we want more talent, from a more diverse cross-section of society, to be recognised by employers and society as a whole. That’s got to be good for absolutely everyone, surely?”
