Foundation forms partnership with Writhlington Business and Enterprise School

The Aldridge Foundation has announced a new partnership with the Writhlington Business and Enterprise School in Radstock, near Bath.
Serving students aged 11-18 Ofsted has said Writhlington ensures “students are outstandingly well prepared for their future economic well-being and benefit from exceptional opportunities for personal development.”
The partnership agreement will:
- Develop shared learning resources and practice to secure outstanding teaching and learning
- Make joint bids where our partnership could increase the likelihood of securing funding for educational projects across the family of academies
- Share develop and evaluate business, enterprise and entrepreneurial materials, approaches and projects
- Develop collaborative strategic alliances, overseas as well as across the UK
- Foster joint student activities and partnerships, including residential trips, entrepreneurial projects and virtual networks of entrepreneurial ambassadors
- Work together to publicly promote the benefits of entrepreneurial approaches to education
The Head of Writhlington, Mark Everett, said it was fantastic to have the opportunity to work with the Foundation: “We can share our own expertise with the Foundation and the Aldridge family of Academies and benefit from their innovation and inspiration in return.”
Honor Wilson Fletcher, Chief Executive of The Aldridge Foundation, said the Partnership represents a significant development in the Foundation’s strategy to build partnerships, develop new ideas and share good practice.
