University success for DACA sixth form
01/09/2010
With 90% of students passing their A Levels, five of the students attending the DACA sixth form have secured places at University. Not only are they the first Darwen sixth form students to do this, they are the first people from their families to have ever gone to University.
Chairman of The Aldridge Foundation, Rod Aldridge, said he was really proud of their achievements, and of all the support given by all the sixth form staff and their families. “I really wish them all success in their new adventure and hope they really get all they can from university life.”
