Gill Budd is also Chair of the charitable foundation, ShareGift;  a trustee of RNID the Royal National Institution for Deaf People and of Hampstead Theatre;  and has been a trustee of numerous other charities including the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and Community Links. She also has extensive experience as a member of finance, audit, risk, governance and nominations, people and culture and succession committees of various charities. She has a strong interest in education and the potential of young people to do great things. She is vice chair of governors at an all-through ( 3 to 18 year olds) school in East London. Gill has a BA in Law and an LLM both from the University of Cambridge.
